QotD: Via Snail Mail

When did you last write/receive a handwritten, snail-mail letter? Who was it to/from?

Last weekend I handwrote thank you notes to two neighbors who did us some small favors. I actually enjoy handwriting letters and receiving handwritten letters. My mother drilled it into me that I always need to give people some kind of thank-you note when they do something nice.

You're cool! Thanks for always responding to my e-mails! You are always a great help and encouragement! I hope things will look up soon with the neighbor situation. If not, here's my idea: When the cold weather hits, go over to his front walkway, steps, porch, whatever and poor a lot of water on the cement. It will freeze, the next day after it has turned to ice he will fall and break his hip. Typically, and unfortunately, when old people fall and break a bone that's it. He'll be dead in no time :)

Hetta, LOL! You are so funny. Luckily since the 11th I have not seen the man. Anyway, I think you and me, for all of our differences, are kindred spirits--there's a lot of commonality. I'm happy to have met you through Vox!
