Proof of My Bad Luck (Don't Read if Squeamish)

Tonight--no joke, I have witnesses to this--I got a paper cut so bad that blood sprayed halfway up my arm. Ewwww!

I was reaching for a magazine inside a bag, forgot it had some notebook paper jammed in it, cut the top of my finger straight across the tip on the notebook paper, and somehow when I jerked my hand upwards, a fine spray of blood droplets flew up my arm. Can't explain it! Powerful pulse in my fingertip?
